I have eaten here a few times since they opened and I must sayÖThe food is amazing and you definitely get what you paid for. The staff is so friendly and I was impressed that the owner came out to see how we enjoyed the food. That's something you do not see too often now a days. So if your in the area, definitely check out Saba Saba- you will not be disappointed!

This restaurant just opened about four weeks ago, and features a familiar face in a new location. The owner/chef Nonnie Saycosie-Blondin is part of the family associated with Saginaw's old favorite, Pasong's, in Old Town. Nonnie is bringing some new recipes, while clearly sticking to the family tradition of freshly made-to-order food in a friendly setting. I have been three times--lunch with family, alone in mid-afternoon, and with a son on a Saturday evening. Service was fine and the tastes were great. On the menu are Sabai Rolls, their twist on the spring roll, Summer Rolls, Cheese Wraps, and Garlic Chile Wings in the appetizer lineup. Other menu items may include Temple Chicken, Lettuce Wraps, Thai Noodle Salad, and Pad Thai, with each having beef, chicken,and tofu options. Plus Yum Yum Soup, desserts, and bar service. Tuesday through Friday noon to 11pm, Saturday 5pm to 11pm. This is the type of place I really enjoy, locally owned and fun to watch grow.
