We walked in on a cold December night for some hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles, we ended up also enjoying some super yummy samples of pecan praline icecream and many flavors of fudge. The shop is warm and inviting; everyone inside just seems a little happier than the rest of the world. A couple of tables and chairs are set up in the back for those who wish to linger just a little longer.

The friendly folks at Kilwins Atlantic Station are in the business of turning frowns upside down with delicious, homemade goodies and service almost as Sweet as their fudge!
Their confectionary delights are created using techniques and recipes perfected by Don and Katy Kilwin, which have been put to the test since the opening of the very first Kilwins in 1947.
Since then, a many more sugary (and sugar free) offerings have been created to satisfy any Sweet-tooth--from the classic chocolate, caramel and mackinac island fudge-lovers to the saltwater taffy-chompers and ice cream-lickers. At least one, maybe two...okay, let's be honest, at least 10...are bound to strike your fancy!

It all starts with a crisp, hand-selected, perfectly sweet/tart/tangy apple. "The chosen one" is then generously covered with homemade copper-pot caramel, (whose recipe dates back to the beginning of Kilwins). Top with your choice of nuts, sprinkles and chocolate!
