My wife & I visited the Garden on opening night 11/17 for the brand new "Garden Lights, Holiday Nights." In a word: Outstanding! We spent almost 2 hours between 7 & 9 PM walking among the different exhibits marveling at the ingenuity & beauty. There were numerous helpful docents to orient your wandering, fire pits & heat lamps for warming up (including roasting marshmallows & making s'mores), bars with hot rum & other spirits, the friendly cafe for slight snacks or a meal, and plentiful, spotless bathrooms.
There was a big, big crowd of member families on opening night with people of all ages, including toddlers in strollers. The over five stories of the parking garage were almost full by 7pm, an hour after the Garden opened.
By all means see this new Atlanta attraction that will undoubtedly become a holiday tradition!
