My sister and I, both over 50, went and drove tanks and shot machine guns at Drive a Tank and had a blast! Everyone there was helpful, friendly, and gave very good instructions - I only "almost" hit a tree once!!! I really recommend this for all ages, men, women, kids. Just a lot of fun and not something that everyone gets to do.

The day begins with the safety review with questions about how this business got started. A few minutes are spent climbing around on two Chieftan tanks inside. Tank drivers a loaded up into a military truck and taken out to the course. Riders a brought out later. Drivers are given a brief lesson. Tank driving is very simple. Drivers and two passengers are loaded up for a run through a course including a few mud pits and up hill climbs. Your have supervision at all times. It only takes a few minutes to complete the course. Car crushing is done back at the main building with the Chieftan tanks. The day is completed with firing automatic weapons at the indoor shooting range.
